Anti-Harassment Policy
Island Rail Corporation ("IRC")
IRC has adopted an Anti-harassment and Anti-discrimination policy.
It is mandatory that all language and conversation that takes place in any IRC communication is done so with the utmost respect. This is important to protect all partners of our organization and all people IRC conducts business with as IRC moves forward with its agenda to bring modern and efficient rail service to the Island Rail Corridor on Vancouver Island. All involved with IRC are on the same team and it is encouraged and expected that all associates of IRC abide by the policies that prevent inappropriate behaviour.
IRC is committed to fostering an environment of mutual respect, both internally and externally. IRC is bound to uphold its bylaws and adopted policies, most specifically the anti-harassment policy linked above on this page. This allows partners and associates of IRC to participate fully and without fear of feeling uncomfortable with others. IRC is inclusive of all.
If any associate is found to be in violation of these IRC policies, their participation privileges will be immediately subjected to moderation (or revoked) until such time it is deemed appropriate to reinstate them. They may be lifted at a future date, however, each associate (or potential associate) is urged to comply with the official IRC anti-harassment policy. If any associate continues to violate these policies, then action will be taken as deemed fit by members of the executive board, which could include a temporary ban or termination of association with IRC. Please take a few minutes to review this policy and ensure that you are in compliance with the intent and spirit of this document. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact IRC or any of the executive board.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
