Island Rail Corporation (IRC)
Island Rail Corporation (“IRC”) is committed to providing an environment of mutual respect, free from harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behaviour. This policy applies to all IRC communications, whether internal or external, and to all individuals representing or engaging with IRC.
Respect in Communication
All language and conversation in any IRC context must be conducted respectfully. This protects our partners, associates, and all those we conduct business with, and supports our mission to deliver modern and efficient rail service to Vancouver Island. Everyone involved with IRC is expected to abide by this policy and uphold the highest standards of professional conduct.
Commitment to Inclusivity
IRC values diversity and inclusivity and is committed to ensuring that all partners and associates can participate fully and without fear of harassment or discrimination. IRC upholds its bylaws and adopted policies, including this Anti-Harassment and Anti-Discrimination Policy.
Policy Enforcement
Violations of this policy may result in immediate moderation or revocation of participation privileges. These privileges may be reinstated at the discretion of the IRC Executive Board. Repeated or serious violations may lead to temporary suspension or permanent termination of association with IRC.
